Terms of Service

ReviewStar is a software-as-a-service platform that helps brick-and-mortar and online businesses (each, a “Shop”) collect customer reviews via a smart standee, route happy customers to public review platforms (e.g. Google, TripAdvisor, Zomato, Justdial), surface private feedback to the Shop owner, and run a periodic lucky draw.

You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to bind the business you represent. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

• ReviewStar offers Starter, Growth, and Pro subscription plans, plus a 14-day Growth trial. Plan features and pricing are listed on our website and may be updated from time to time.
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date. You authorise us, through our payment processor (Razorpay), to charge your selected payment method for each renewal at the then-current price.
• Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the dashboard or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current paid billing cycle — you continue to have access until that date.

No refunds. All subscription fees, including renewal charges and any unused portion of a paid period, are non-refundable. Cancelling your subscription stops future charges but does not entitle you to a refund of fees already paid.

We may, at our sole discretion, grant a refund or service credit in exceptional circumstances (for example, an extended platform outage attributable solely to us). Any such grant is made as a goodwill gesture and does not waive this no-refund clause.

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Submit, induce, or incentivise fake, fraudulent, or misleading reviews; or violate any third-party platform's review policies.
• Send unsolicited messages, spam, or otherwise misuse the contact details of customers who interact with your Shop.
• Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes another person's intellectual property or privacy.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
• Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialise the Service without our written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this clause without notice or refund.

You are the controller of the customer data submitted through your QR standee (customer name, phone, rating, feedback). You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to collect and process that data and for complying with applicable laws — including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — when using the Service. We process customer data on your behalf in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

The Service, the ReviewStar brand, the platform UI, and all related software and content are owned by Eco Biznfc Solutions Private Limited or its licensors and are protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service solely as permitted by these Terms.

We aim to keep the Service available 24×7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eco Biznfc Solutions Private Limited and its directors, officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

Our aggregate liability for all claims arising under these Terms in any rolling 12-month period shall not exceed the total fees you paid to us under your subscription in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Eco Biznfc Solutions Private Limited from any claim, demand, loss, or damage (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, your violation of any law, or your infringement of any third-party right.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, prolonged non-payment, or for legal reasons. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Clauses that by their nature should survive termination (including no-refund, intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law) will survive.

We may modify the Service, these Terms, or our pricing from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify you by email or via an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of the change constitutes your acceptance.

These Terms are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
